I am proud to announce that I think we have finally got the letters. I bought bathtub letters and we've been quizzing at night. So last night I was asking Matt some of the ones I thought he didn't know and he was firing them back at me. It's like something just clicked. I'm so proud of them. Some of you know that the past few weeks have been hard with school. They have done so good this year but are a little behind on some things. So their teacher suggested that we might want to do K-4 again. Robby and I talked and just decided that we didn't think that was necessary yet but that we would work extra hard to catch them up. Well hard work pays off. They have much improved over the past few weeks and I'm so proud of all of them.
MT is writing her name really well which is something the boys mastered earlier in the year. She is doing well in K-3 but I'm afraid she's getting a little bored. There's such a difference in maturity when your that young. Some are not even 4 yet!!But, I'm proud of her for being the big girl in the class and helping her teacher.
Bye Bye for now

Yummy brownie recipe
I swiped this from Paula Deen, but it is so good.
1 box of brownie mix
2 Hershey symphony bars with toffee and pecans
Mix the brownies according to the box. Spray the brownie pan with Cooking Spray. Pour 1/2 the brownie mix in the bottom. Lay the candy bars on top. Then pour the rest of the mix on top of the candy bars. Bake for 30-45 minutes. I baked for longer than normal so they would be easier to cut. So Good!!!!

What's going on in our lives...
***I'm happy to say that we are well at our house(knock on wood)except for me. I have had a terrible cold/headache for days but no fever, which means I'm not sick, right???
****School is going well, everybody is doing better with letters. I guess it's a twin thing but it seems like what one doesn't get the other does and vice versa. I'm going to research that a little bit.
****We have a birthday party this weekend and one next weekend
****I got a new camera for Valentine's Day. And not because I broke one or lost one. If you know me well, you know I'm rotten with cameras. Anyway we had been talking about investing in a really good camera with some speed and a zoom lens. The kids are so active and we seem to be missing really good pictures. So I was surprised to receive one for Valentines. And it's awesome. Plus I got a memory card that holds 1800 pictures!! He was so proud of himself!!!!

Update on Letters!!
Well, I'm proud to announce that Will has much improved on his letters. Robby was off today and picked them up from school. Our teacher was opening car doors and came over to talk to him. (Sometimes you worry about this!!!)But, he said she was beaming and really excited that she reviewed and Will knew the letters A-R(except E,G, and P). YEAH!!! He came home with a big poster that said what a good job he had done. So proud.

TRYING TO LEARN OUR LETTERS!!!
We've had a busy week at school. I didn't realize how important K-4 would be for my children. Just when you think all they need to know is how to play with others, go to the bathroom on their own, and mind their teacher, you realize there is a whole world of other things they "have" to know before kindergarten. Like recognizing every LETTER!!! WHAT!! They know their ABCs and can recognize some of the letters, but not nearly all of them. And we haven't done a whole lot of work outside of the things that they ask us to do in school. It's just hard to make them work when they get home in the afternoons. They have mastered writing their name, counting pretty far, counting in Spanish, minding their teacher, but the letter stuff is just slowing us down. So we are on a mission, playing letter games, watching videos, etc... trying to get these letters mastered.
So, if you have any more suggestions about learning them let us know!!!

Go Giants!!
Way to go Eli!!! That was the most awesome game!!! We spent the evening with friends from church and had a great time. We left shortly after half time thinking we would get the kids to bed by 8:30 or so. Not happening!! We all sat glued to the TV for the last 2 minutes and watched the Giants win the Super Bowl!! Even the kids were watching.
