I love weekends with nothing to do. The kids have a new tradition of spending the night at my parent's house on Friday nights. Since they were over there we went on a "date". We went to AJs for some seafood and then flipped through the channels. NO Scooby Doo, Tom & Jerry or Spongebob last night.

Then today, the kids and I hung out at home with lots of laundry and housework, while daddy did some work on his deer camp. Anyway not too exciting but I live for weekends like this with no obligations.

Next weekend Daddy has to work, YUCK!!!

7 things about me that you might not know!!!

Okay So I have been been tagged by my friend..KS, let me see if I can think of 7 things to tell you about myself

1)I love TV. Ask anybody in my family. I cannot walk in the house or a room without turning it on.

2)I'm a huge coffee drinker and diet cokes. I usually drink them at the same time in the morning!!!

3)I can sleep anywhere, anytime, in any clothes. I fall asleep mid-sentence, mid-movie....

4)I live with a neat freak!!! Althought I've slightly transformed him over the years.

5)I love Disney World... We've been twice and are planning the next trip!!

6)I love to shop deals, clearance racks. I can honestly say I rarely pay full price for anything especially kids clothes....Kelly's Kids warehouse sale anybody???

7)I love my family!! No really... there's nothing I love more than family vacations, spending the night at my parents house, or weeks when the kids don't have school.

I wanted to post a prayer request. Please pray for my good friend Alicia, who lost her mom this week. She has battled cancer for the past few months and passed away on Friday. I will attend the funeral today and pray for strength and courage for Alicia and her family. And I pray for Alicia as she explains to her babies about all of this.

Alicia and I went to school together and now her little girl and mine are in the same class at school. I'm so proud of my baby girl because she has prayed without even being prompted for her friend everyday.

IT SNOWED!!!

The kids had a great time playing in the snow yesterday. They have started a new tradition of spending the night at my parent's house on Friday night. They know Friday is special, because every other night is either a school night or church night. Anyway, we woke up Saturday morning and knew we had to get over there fast so we could get 1st reaction pictures!!!

There hasn't been a lot going on since Christmas. Oh yeah, except that everybody has had the stomach virus!! YUCK. We made it through 2 days of school last week and MT got sick then WS got sick Friday and last but not least MS stayed home today. Oh and of course Daddy got it. That's inevitable!!!

Luckily it was only about a 24 hour thing, so it didn't drag on.

Hopefully we can get well and back to school tomorrow.

School Starts Today!!

Well, we started back to school today. I thought we would have trouble but they all left happy. We all kind of fell back into our routine. Now, How many days until spring break???

Happy New Year!!!

WOW!! What a fun holiday we have had. We sent RS back to work today. I'm not sure he was very happy since I was still in bed when he left. Oh well we will all be back to normal by next week. I'm going to have to re-train my children to go to school. You see I'm the mom who loves when school is out because we have no responsibility!!!

Anyway we spent the week loving our babies and visiting with our family. We also cleaned out lots of closets. As my good friend said on her blog, I will have to hide, when the garbage truck comes today. I'm sure our neighbors are wondering how anybody could have that much junk!! And the sad part is there's probably alot more.

I am looking forward to the new year. I saw on the Today show that if you're house is unorganized then it causes your life to be. Which explains what my problem has been!! Anyway I hope to keep our family in a little better order this year for all of our sakes. I also intend to look to God every day for my decisions. I always say that I do but I'm not sure if that's really true. I love what our pastor said about how we come to church every week, participate in all of the activities, live right, but do we really know God??? I will listen to everything he tells me and read his Word every day. I owe that to him becuase he is my Father, and he has given me everything. Thank you God for all of the blessings in my life, all of the good and all of the bad. I look forward to 2008!!!
