Last week the kids and I went with my parents on a little trip. The resort was really fun for the kids complete with water slide, playground, and bicycles. I enjoyed a little shopping at the outlet mall!! My new favorite store: The Gymboree Outlet

A couple of weeks ago, I came home from SAMS about 9:00 on Friday night and look what I found in our garage....




Yes..those are kittens in my boy's jeep. And the best part.. it's not even our cat!!!

These are pictures that we had taken for Father's Day. Jeanelle did a great job. The kids are a little sweaty toward the end, but the first ones turned out good!!!

Swimming Lessons Day 3

Swimming Lessons

Well we completed day 2 of swimming lessons. Let me just say that yesterday was a little wild... Robby was home so we stayed and watched, well we spent most of the time telling them don't do that, stop that, go back and sit down.. not so productive. Although, the boys did really well, Will wasn't so sure he wanted to go back... He didn't like being told to go under the water. So I promised and bribed and everything in between.(Sidenote: When their daddy was taking swimming lessons he was promised a new bicycle and chocolate poptarts..We settled for a matchbox car set and some cars) Neither one of them has any trouble playing around in the water and for the most part can get to the side if they need to. I just wanted one more year of "real" instruction so they would be strong swimmers. Both did really well today. It turns out that the water was really burning their eyes so she let them wear their goggles.

Little Mary Taylor on the other hand... my challenge...She was swimming at 2 but we took lessons and she quit...So fastforward to 4 and she is afraid of letting go, afraid that her brothers are going to sink..or that our toys are going to the bottom never to be found again...Well, she was amazing today. By the time I came back..yes I left today..she was swimming to her teacher with her arms moving and her legs kicking probably about half away across the pool..AMAZING!!! I took a few pictures of her and then my camera died. I'm going to get the boys swimming tomorrow.

Catch Up Time!!

Life has been so busy lately...we finished school but between VBS and baseball/softball games we haven't had a whole lot of spare time. I think we will spend this week slowing down a little. The kids have swimming lessons this week but that is our only obligation YEAH!!!
